I travelled to SE-Asia after high-school to become a Buddhist monk and have been ordained for 18 years, spending the majority of that time in solitude practicing meditation in the remote jungles of Thailand. During this period, I authored four books on Buddhism and gave countless public talks on Buddhist philosophy and ethics. I completed a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in psychology at the Australian National University for which I received a first class distinction (H1). Currently, I am a PhD candidate at Monash University in the Cognition and Philosophy lab and Monash Center for Consciousness and Contemplative studies (MC3S).
